Established in 2003, Pan African Corporate Holdings (PTY) LTD. became the flagship and first company to import Cockspur Fine Rum into South Africa from Barbados.

Pan African Corporate Holdings is an international import and export company and works with a variety of well chosen products specially selected for the markets of countries where they do business around the globe. Since Cockspur Fine Rum is a uniquely fine blended golden rum with a distinct smooth taste like no other golden rum currently presented in South Africa, Pan African Corporate Holdings deemed it necessary to import the rum to South Africa and establish a connoisseur market. Tasting notes from a variety of South African guests who visited the Cockspur Rum stall at the 2007 Good Food and Wine Show gave a definite example of the urgent need for a distinct, smooth golden rum which can participate in the South African liquor market.

Cockspur is manufactured by a company called Hanchell Innes in Barbados. Since 1884 this unique rum has been produced and has received various gold medals on the international liquor trade shows.

The uniqueness of the rum is due to the way the rum is distilled, produced and bottled. It carries the resemblance of age old rum manufactured the traditional way in Barbados, yet it is stylish and remarkably sophisticated for both male and female rum lovers.
